Certifications
Certified at every
step of the chain.
Every product we carry is verified by a named, independent halal certifying body. Here's exactly who certifies what — and why it matters.
The certifying bodies we work with
Halal Food Standards Alliance of America
One of the most recognised halal certifiers in North America, overseeing the full supply chain from slaughter to packaging.
Halal Monitoring Services
An independent halal monitoring body providing rigorous third-party oversight of slaughter methods and processing facilities across 13 US states.
Halal Monitoring Authority
A trusted certification authority with over 20 years of experience focused on end-to-end halal compliance, from supplier through to the consumer.
Product certification breakdown
All Al Maaedah products are certified by both HFSAA and HMS — hand slaughtered zabiha with full chain of custody documentation available on request.
All Crescent products carry dual certification from HFSAA and HMS, ensuring hand slaughtered zabiha compliance across every cut and portion.
All Solmaz products are certified by HMA, covering end-to-end halal compliance from processing through to packaging.
Thomas Farms is third-party verified and certified by IFANCA and ISWA — both recognised under the HFSAA framework — ensuring every product meets the same rigorous halal standard.
Thomas Farms is certified directly by IFANCA and ISWA. Both bodies operate within and are recognised by the HFSAA framework, providing the same standard of halal assurance as direct HFSAA certification.
What certification means for you
No self-certification
Every supplier we work with is verified by an independent named body — not self-declared. You always know who certified what.
Hand slaughtered zabiha
All products are hand slaughtered. This is explicitly confirmed by the certifying body — not hidden in small print.
Halal cold chain
Certification doesn't stop at slaughter. Every order ships in a dedicated halal-only cold chain — no co-mingling with non-halal products at any point.
